Hey guys this will be a long post so i will try to make it easy to read.I had a problem with my HDMI. Whenever i connected the tablet to an external monitor the WIFI connection would drop.

Sometimes instantly other times after a few minutes until it would stop working. As soon i removed the HDMI everything would go back to normal. I even tried to do a speedtest.net and in the middle of the test i would plug the external monitor and the internet would stop working.But that is a minor problem now. I kinda gave up and i decided to install Malwarebytes to scan my system even though the system was clean since there weren't many things installed on it and i didn't browse and suspicious sites.

But after a quick scan it said that it found 3 threats. I selected remove and it prompted me to restart the tablet.After i restarted the tablet it prompted me with the Bitlocker screen. I tried to restart, shutdown but nothing worked. I entered the key but it still didn't work. The tablet is(was) 'mostly' in German because even after i installed the English language pack some of the menus were still in German no matter what i would do.Since my German is limited at the moment(still learning) i browsed the recovery menu that i could access from Bitlocker and i navigated to 'Toshiba Maintenance Utility' where i thought it would do a full system recovery and not a refresh(the one from windows).It said that it will delete my partition but little did i know that it actually deleted ALL the partitions including the recovery one. Hence my great German skills.Now whenever i power on the tablet i get a 'No Bootable Device, Hit any key.' I can access the boot menu and the bios.

On the boot menu i see a boot from USB option but since i am at work i am not able to do that now. I have a Windows 8 usb stick at home but i am afraid that if i will install it from there i will once be prompted to enter the serial number and from what i see Toshiba doesn't provide one and second i think there might be some driver problems?Any idea what to do?

There is no partition on the hard drive, so no option to do the HDD recovery.First, I tried the solution to create a bootable Windows 8.1 USB as mentioned above (with the Windows USB/DVD Tool, then reformat to FAT32, then copy files back to USB stick), but that did work. Still the no bootable device error message after picking USB in the boot optionsNext I tried to generate a bootable stick with Rufus as mentioned in this link:, but this didn't boot the encore either.Now I am kind of stuck. Any ideas what else I can try or what could be wrong with my approach?One thing that is maybe worth mentioning is, that in the boot options screen there is no name for any device listed.

In the screenshot above you can see the name of the hard drive and the one of the USB device attached. In my menu both names are empty.Both USB sticks actually booted my normal PC without a problem and started the Windows 8.1 installation.Any ideas what else I can try or what could be wrong with my approach?
