Office 2019 Install Error
I am trying to install a copy of Office Professional Plus 2019 using the Office Configuration Tool in the same way that I previously installed Office Professional Plus 2016.Everything appears to proceed as expected until I try to register the product with my activation key.When I type in the key I get a message telling me that the key is for the product Office Professional Plus 2019 and is not accepted.I believe the problem is caused by my configuration.xml file in which I use the as I did when installing Office 2016.What is the correct ID to use to enable me to register the product? I have tried looking online for a solution but found nothing.Hope someone can help.Thank you.
UPDATED 3OCT18 1205 EST Ok It looks like my Volume Licensing Service Center says that the package was ' Office Professional Plus 2019', but when I completed the suggestion by xtralives (More precis answer),I found out that what actually installed was 'Office Online Server'. So while the answers given corrected my install problem, it looks like there is some sort of a SNAFU in VLSC.////////////////I am having problems with Installing Office 2019 this morning.First I completely uninstalled all versions of MSO using the tool in article found at did get a bang for 'Microsoft Office 2016 Click-to-Run installed Not Fixed X'Rebooted the computer to see what would happen.I then went to install MSO19.
I downloaded it from my subscription. I extracted the ISO. I clicked on setup.' Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s): This product requires Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or higher., with ASP.NET v4.0 in the list of IIS Web Server Extensions.
Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run the setup.' So now as an IT professional I am asking the question. After running the MSO uninstaller and rebooting.So will Microsoft correct the issue so that IIS and ASP will be taken care of automatically? While I'm at it may as well ask why MSO 19 requires IIS and ASP?No. I haven't got the program installed I guess I should say.
I'm not quite sure what IIS is explicitly required. I'd rather be minimal and not select the whole of ALL IIS to install. Or for that matter what explicity is required for ASP.NET when making theselections.Is there a way method or means to download the complete install binaries instead of from the CDN?Have a great day!Have a great day! Thanks.hitting the windows button and typing 'features' will show the 'turn windows features on or off' which is where you can install the needed components below:I turned on the '.net framework 4.7 advanced services - asp.net 4.7' and 'internet information services - web management tools - iis management console/iismanagement scripts and tools/iis management service' and I was able tostart my installation.For what it's worth I'm running the latest version of Windows 10.

Anton,This is what needs to be done to install Office 2019. Get the office deployment tool. Using the ODT you will have the option of either always downloading the binaries from Microsoft CDN (OR) you can configure to download the binaries so you can do multiplelocal installs for MSO19.At this point I have put MSO19 on a server share and am testing for production. For learning purposes I have been able to put the files on a USB to see if could install and have been successful with installations.
